Malia Ann Haberman is a woman of pure talent and genius.  I read the entire story, Chase Tinker and the House of Magic, in one day and refused to put it down.

Author Malia Ann Haberman
If you are unfamiliar with the story, it is about a young boy, named Chase, and his younger brother, Andy, who have to deal with coming into strange new powers without the support of their magical father. He's gone missing.  So when the boys finally share their lack of knowledge about their powers with one another, they were surprised to find their grandfather, who was supposed to be dead, at their door.  They go with him back to the magical home that belongs to the Tinker family, and wondrous things happen as they gain knowledge about their family heritage, powers, and things they weren't supposed to hear.

*Psssst*.... Isn't this cover beautiful?
Everything quickly starts to go downhill after their arrival, forcing the boys and their cousin, Janie, and the housekeeper's daughter, Persephone, to attempt to find their way through the mess of things.

Not only was Haberman's book amazing to read, it was amazing to see.  I don't mean that there were pictures or videos, nor that the structure was beautiful to look at (though it was structurally flawless); just that she used a great deal of imagery and description that I felt like I was there with Chase and Andy and Janie and Persephone as they roamed the magical home filled with rooms of bizarre powers.

Chase Tinker develops throughout the story in such a "magical" way.  It was fun to watch him change from a neglected boy who steals food to a mature young man who is learning how to control his powers.  I could not wait for the next book to watch Chase develop, and, hopefully, to see where he is going with Persephone.  I don't usually ship people, but those two would be adorable together.

AND THAT ENDING: I was left on such a cliffhanger and an unexpected twist.   My mind was screaming for minutes on end --- in a good way.   I sat on my bed for about 30 minutes thinking, "I have to wait how long?"  (Luckily for you all, the next installment is already out!)

Well, who does?

Though this series is meant to be for tweens and teens, Haberman does a great job writing the story in such a way that persons of all ages can enjoy.

Welcome to WCTFWFW

Welcome Writers, Editors, Authors, Literary Agents, Publishers, and Readers to WCTFWFW.

How WCTFWFW Was Founded:

We were founded in 2012 by upcoming author, Sarah A. Kaider, who created the Facebook Page, Writer's Club: Tips for Writers From Writers.  She created the page to give back to all of the wonderful authors that gave her advice and access to their expertise.  She established a kind environment for writers to get along, meet, make connections, and learn from one another.  WCTFWFW also has periodic contests where authors can submit their book covers for a chance to be chosen as one of the top ten books of the quarter.  The top ten is then promoted across multiple social media accounts.

Who Are We:

We are a group of people who are inspired by writing and reading.  This group, WCTFWFW, is dedicated to helping writers improve their standings, sales, and success with social media. This is also a resource where readers can learn more about their authors, so feel free to send us an email with the link to your blog, book information; and Facebook, Twitter, Google, Goodreads, or Pinterest pages.  We also hold Book Cover Promotions and Author Promotion Contests.
